What can my words convey that my photographs do not?
I want my photos to speak to you of beauty, with emotion, and empathy that joins us in identifying what we share as people.
I express my individuality with a creative challenge in the hope that you not only see what caused me to click the shutter but find in yourself that “ah-ha” moment of recognition as well.
So, it is through nature, still life, and people that my eye searches to focus on a small part of the world we inhabit.
I hope these pictures perform for you a similar function as they do for me: to grab the heart and mind with the thrill of a visual sensation vibrating within and connecting to the outside world.

BIO:
I lived & worked in NYC for a good part of my life retiring in 1995 & moving to the Bay area then. I did pottery & photography on both coasts; more pottery in NYC & now in the Bay area concentrating with photography.
I started out with b&w & still do that although now digital has occupied most of my efforts. This new web site is another step for me on the challenging path of sharing my vision with the public.
